Assist in administrative tasks for Collection Department staff to ensure timely delivery of services to members, vendors and outside contacts.


1. Distribute all incoming mail items to appropriate personnel and notate each document
with proper account number;
2. Receive and distribute all incoming faxes to appropriate personnel;
3. Mail out all certified Mail;
4. Assist Repo Clerk and Collections Assistant as needed
5. Process and follow up on Dealer Refund Request Letters and Dealer Refund Proceeds for repossessed and total loss collateral;
6. Scan necessary Docs for Collections Department
7. E-mail Docs for Collections Department
8. Assist Collections Manager with Bankruptcy tasks.
9 Send Extension and COT documents to members; route to appropriate department for processing upon receiving signed documents back from members
10 Document returned items notices and CUNA payment disbursements notices in collection notes
11. Comply with financial industry Rules and Regulations as required by law.
12. Other duties as assigned


High School Diploma or GED Required.


Must have the ability to learn and understand Microsoft Office Software. Previous office clerical experience is preferred. Must be able to work evenings, weekends and overtime as requested by management.

Physical requirements are minimal but position involves wrist/hand manipulation and sitting for long periods of time. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision for frequent viewing of computer monitor and review of documents


Personal computer with windows environment, copy machine, fax, calculator and scanner.
